National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Created in 2021 by the federal government, the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day, to recognize the impact of the residential school system, honour the children who never returned home and survivors, their families and communities. People are encouraged to wear orange to honour and remember.
