The Pearson Centre Announces New Chief Executive Officer

The Pearson Centre announced today that Pam Damoff will join the organisation as Chief Executive Officer effective May 12, 2025. “Pam brings a wealth of public and private sector experience to her new role. Her time in Parliament and her previous career in the financial sector will provide the Pearson Centre with inspired leadership,” said Kevin Bosch, Chair of the Board.

“There are so many critical issues facing Canadians, and The Pearson Centre can be a leader in policy discussions.  I am looking forward to working with the Board and building a strong public policy voice for the Pearson Centre. We want to be a sounding board for Canadians that invites and encourages respectful and varied opinion on all matters of public interest,” said Ms. Damoff.

Pam Damoff is a former Member of Parliament who represented the riding of Oakville North – Burlington in the House of Commons from 2015 to 2025. She was known for working across party lines for the benefit of Canadians, securing funding for cancer research and medical isotopes, as well as the passage of Keira’s Law to educate judges on domestic violence and coercive control.  She served as Vice-Chair of the Status of Women Committee, and Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministers of Health, Indigenous Services, Public Safety and Foreign Affairs.  Previously, she served on Oakville Town Council for five years. Ms. Damoff spent 27 years working in financial and investment banking positions while advocating for her community.  She is passionate about serving Canada in her new role.

“We look forward to Pam leading the Pearson Centre in a dynamic participation in Canada’s public discourse and expanding the involvement of an ever-increasing number of Canadians in our efforts,” Mr. Bosch commented, “I would also like to thank George Young for his tremendous efforts on behalf of our organisation.”
