Let’s all remember to celebrate the 60th birthday of the Canadian flag — February 15th.
Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson and Governor-General Georges Vanier were in attendance, at the stroke of noon on February 15, 1965, when Canada’s red and white maple leaf flag was raised for the very first time on Parliament Hill.
On February 15, let’s celebrate 60 years of our Canadian flag!
