The issue: While social media offers many opportunities, the nature of the medium has allowed for extensive sexism and misogyny directed at women politicians, sometimes made more intense over controversial issues or for racial and religious minorities, Indigenous women and sexual minorities.

The Event:  Panel discussion which will include MPs from various parties, and reps from the community organizations and the industry.  The objectives are to begin to identify the nature of the problems and solutions – or ways to cope with the negatives.
