A convesation with Michael Adams on the diverging political culture in Canada and the US

As Canadians look at some deepening cleavages in the United States, it may be comforting for some that there is a growing cultural divergence between our two countries. What does this mean? Is this new or has it been coming for a while? Are the same cleavages happening here?

With the trucker occupations in Ottawa and Coutts, Alberta, this session offers us an opportunity to talk about whether some of that populist political culture is taking hold here.

Join this thoughtful conversation with Michael Adams, President of the Environics Institute, a long time Canadian pollster and leading thinker about Canadian values and Canada-US issues, our similarities and differences. His very popular books have included Could it happen here: Canada in the age of Trump and Brexit; and Fire and Ice: The United States, Canada and the Myth of Converging Values.
