PERSPECTIVES: The Series What people think about the challenging issues of today

You are invited to join us for the launch of the Perspectives Series as we discuss

Diversity in Canada: What’s next?

Wednesday, November 21, 2018; 7:00-9:00 pm

Co-hosted with/at the Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau, Quebec

Gary Anandasangaree, MP; Parliamentary Secretary for Multiculturalism

Jack Jedwab, President, Association for Canadian Studies, Canadian Institute for Identities and Migration, Montreal

Prof. Kahente Horn-Miller, School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies, Carleton University

Marilyn Gladu, MP; Conservative Party Shadow Minister for Health; Past Chair, Standing Comm. on the Status of Women

Carmen Paquette, Past President of EGALE

PERSPECTIVES is a series that highlights some of the key points of view on the major issues facing our society. We will hear from leading experts who will deliver short opening comments on their particular different perspectives, which will be followed by a panel discussion. Rather than debate, these sessions will be about dialogue. The outcome will not be winners and losers of a debate but rather a lot of us just better informed about each other’s perspectives. The events will be held at the Canadian Museum of History and will be open the public.
